Whilst that might meant hiring a holiday lodge on the coast, for others it is simply taking a week off to enjoy the sun at home. There is likely a wealth of potential in your back garden – it just needs tapping into. And what better way to enjoy the current lovely weather than by installing a sun deck in your garden.
This stunning decking area makes the most of an awkward space, with a gorgeous raised deck. This needed a balustrade around in order to comply with regulations and ensure the safety of the deck. A simple stainless steel post and handrail perfectly complements the statement grey decking. As the steps come down to the patio, the stringer was too narrow for the post bases to fit to. This wasn’t a problem, as we simply switched to side mount posts on the stairs, whilst keeping the top mount posts on the main deck.
Our components are completely versatile, and so many different combinations can be used to create a completely unique project. Here our Quickcode 595 side mount tensioners and Quickcode 580 side mount spacers form a strong fixing, meeting the 1.5kn loading requirement. The combination of tensioner and spacer needs minimal depth to create a strong fixing.
