Internal Balustrading

When hearing the word ‘balustrading’, many people automatically think of an outdoors application. This is not necessarily the case, and balustrades are often needed internally. The code of practice for this is set out in ‘BS 6180:2011 Barriers In and Around Buildings‘. BS 6180 gives recommendations for the design and construction of temporary and permanent barriers to be provided in and about buildings and places of assembly, such barriers being positioned and designed to protect persons from various hazards and to restrict or control the movement of persons and vehicles.
This project took advantage of our unique White Glove Assembly Service. All the posts were delivered to the customer pre-assembled and ready to go. Quality is very important to us, so our pre-assembled posts are top quality and easy to install.
Another service that we offer is supplying the glass. Provided exact measurements are known, we can draw up manufacture drawings and get the glass delivered straight to you.

Shaped glass looks fantastic, but can be extremely difficult to get right. Glass is not known for its bendy and accommodating nature, so CNC shaped panels have to be right first time. Therefore in situations where there is complicated shaped glass, creating a glass template out of timber is often easier.
