Post and glass balustrades are simple and classy, and look great in every application. When going down steps such as in these holiday lodges, post and glass are easy to install. Provided we have certain measurements, all posts can be fabricated to exact heights. As all glass is processed to order, shaped panels can easily be included in the balustrade. Provided we know the dimensions of the stairs we can work out glass sizes and clamp positionings.
When installing a balustrade into paving slabs it is important to check what the substrate underneath is like. Ensuring that there is a sufficient substrate to fix into is important if the balustrade is going to be strong enough. Provided we know what substrate is available to fix into, we can advise what fixings are best suited to your project. However, these are suggestions only, and if in doubt it is always good to consult a structural engineer that your project is viable.
