As the days lengthen and the sun begins to shine again, it finally feels as though spring is nearly here! Naturally this leads to thoughts of our gardens and outside spaces. And the perfect way to enjoy the fresh spring days? With a glass enclosed balcony. These are often a sun trap, so it feels a lot warmer at this time of year when sunning on a balcony than it does in the actual garden down below.
This stunning balcony uses our 770 stand-off brackets. These are structural fixings, and have been tested to withstand the required loadings, set out in BS 6180:2011, and BS 6399. Our 769 back spacer comes in 5 standard sizes, designed to ensure easy clearance of any obstacles in the way. We can also manufacture bespoke back spacers to suit your requirements.
Tip * Glass is not known for its bendy and flexible nature, so it is important that the dimensions for these standoffs are worked out properly! From your measurements we can work out glass sizes. Holes are needed in the glass for installing these stand-offs – we can take the stress out of working out where these go!
