Faceted Glass Balustrades
In a balustrade, curved glass looks lovely, but in reality, getting it right is extremely difficult. Faceted posts and standard glass give the same stunning effect but a fraction of the price tag. When we refer to faceted glass, we’re talking about a balustrade made up of straight panels of glass set at an angle, with a curved handrail, to give the illusion of being curved. As you can see in this project, the result is pretty awesome!
Once the hard landscaping of the garden was complete, the balustrade could be finalised. With the curve of the deck established, the handrail was processed to suit the exact radius of the finished deck. All the posts were delivered fully fabricated and ready to install, with the clamps positioned to the correct angle. With our White Glove Service, your balustrade is delivered to site ready to install. In this project, each post and panel of glass was designed to go in a certain place in the balustrade. This was clearly labelled on the packaging, corresponding to a detailed installation drawing. We can provide full installation guides and drawings to make installation even easier.
