Privately owned swimming pools are becoming increasingly popular, and these entail their own unique safety concerns and challenges. Decking and pool glass balustrades are very common, as a glass balustrade is the perfect solution to concerns of safety and visibility. Swimming pool surrounds are installed to make your pool safe and to reduce the risk of injuries. The balustrade ensures that small children are far less likely to accidentally fall into the pool, as the access to the pool edge is more secure. When planning a stainless steel balustrade near a pool, it is important to consider the grading of stainless steel that is required.

 Remember it is Stainless Steel, not Stainfree Steel.

However, choosing the correct grading goes a long way towards combating the effects of tea staining. For outside use, 316 grade stainless steel is required, and it is recommended that in marine areas this is mirror polished.
