This project demonstrates that with our versatile components and systems, the only limit is your imagination! Our cable railing system has been used in conjunction with bespoke posts to create a stunning balustrade.
The use of cable railings is subject to building regulations in Approved Document K. Building regulations (and specifically the Building Inspectors) are concerned that small children can’t climb balustrades. This means that in areas that children are likely to be, cable railing systems have to be adapted to make them safe.
The bespoke posts that we manufactured for this installation meet all the requirements! As the posts slant inwards, this ensures that they are not so climbable, and makes the balustrade significantly safer.
