Whether to restrict access, or to allow access to areas for maintenance, gates are often required in balustrade projects. In this project, ultra bespoke drop latches had to be designed and fabricated to fulfil the brief. The customer wanted a frameless glass gate, and due to the span and design, this had to be a double gate. With D-shaped glass hinges, the gates blend seamlessly into the balustrade design. As all our balustrades are manufactured to order, we can include bespoke balustrade gates to suit your requirements.
Swimming pools are considered a harsh environment due to the chlorine and other chemicals used in the water. Due to the environment, all the metalwork in this project was mirror-polished stainless steel. We recommend that a mirror-polished finish is used in harsh or coastal environments, as it is significantly better at resisting corrosion than a brushed satin finish.
